STIR-FRIED / SAUTEED KALE
Stir fry is one type of typical Indonesian food recipe. Stir-fry can be made from vegetables or animal meat. Here the author wants to give the secret of stir-fried spices made from vegetables, namely: kale. Here's a description of the ingredients and how to make it.
Before making the kale stir fry, prepare the kale vegetables first. Water spinach can be obtained by picking the vegetables in the garden/park or around the pond/ditch, or maybe we can plant it ourselves in the yard of the house. If not, we can buy it at the nearest market or supermarket.
Ingredients:
1 bunch of kale
3 red chilies
3 green chilies
6 cayenne peppers
1 peace of garlic
1 peace of onion
A (1/2) tablespoon sugar
A (1/2) teaspoon salt
Sweet soy sauce to taste
Edible oil for frying
1 cup hot water
How to make:
1. Water spinach is washed thoroughly, cut into pieces according to taste.
2. Slice red chilies, green chilies, garlic, and onions
3. Grind the cayenne pepper using a chili grinder, and do not make it very smooth (just grind it);
4. Prepare hot water, you can boil it first, or hot water that is already in a thermos;
5. Heat the cooking oil in a medium heat skillet;
6. Enter the sliced red chilies, green chilies, garlic, onions, cayenne pepper into the skillet, stir until evenly distributed until cooked;
7. Enter 1 cup hot water, add sugar and salt, then sweet soy sauce, stir again until evenly distributed;
8. Enter the kale into the skillet/frying pan, stir until evenly distributed until cooked;
9. Once cooked, put it in a plate;
10. Stir-fried kale is ready to be served.
Currently stir-fried kale is not only a daily menu at home, but has become a restaurant menu. To add a better taste and smell good at stir-fried kale, we can add it with half a tablespoon of seasoning and/or with grilled shrimp paste which is ground to taste when adding sugar and salt (in the process of making point number 7), and if you are a spicy food lover , just add cayenne pepper that is ground according to taste when putting sliced red chilies, green chilies, garlic, onions into the skillet (in the process of making point number 6), and if you like sweet food, just add sugar and more sweet soy sauce during the manufacturing process at number 7, then, if you like salty dishes, just add more salt and or seasoning during the manufacturing process at point number 7 as well. You can also create it by adding other ingredients according to taste, for example a slice of tomatoes, a slice of fermented soybean cake, a slice of tofu, anchovies, etc. In essence, you just add a little more ingredients or additional variations of other ingredients according to taste.
That's the process of making a menu of Indonesian-style stir-fried kale that can be served anytime and anywhere, as an addition to the daily menu variations that taste like restaurant menus. Good luck!
